I am proud to be the owner and a hairstylist at Fringe Salon. I have been in the industry for 32 years and to say that I love my career is an understatement! My main objective is to make every person that sits in my chair feel great about themselves and that their hair looks amazing. I love so many things about what I do but building relationships with my clients and my Fringe family top my list.
Thirty plus years ago I started a career that I thought would allow me to be creative, challenge me and be a lot of fun. It has been so much more! I have the honor of meeting so many amazing people that have trusted me to be a part of important moments in their life! Prom, birthday, babies, wedding, divorce, graduations and even loss- I get to add a little something extra to their life. Feeling beautiful on the outside helps you express the beauty you have on the inside-how lucky am I to have a career that lets me help you feel beautiful inside and out.
In the eleven years that I have been doing hair I have come to learn the real reason behind me being a hairstylist. Not only do I Iove creating new looks and learning new techniques, but it's about my clients. The stories....the laughter....to see how happy and good they feel when leaving the salon is priceless.
Being a hairstylist is more than just coloring and cutting hair. I love being invited into the lives of so many people in such a special way. I'm grateful for the opportunity to serve my clients hair needs while building relationships that I treasure.
It's a beautiful thing when a career and a passion come together...that's how I feel about what I do. With every guest I wear many hats; psychologist therapist, chemist, advisor, teacher, life coach, etc. But I promise you....I will always learn like a pro so I can break the rules like an artist.
The art of being able to enhance one's outer beauty and the relationships I've built with my incredible clients, are the highlights of my career. Having a great atmosphere to work in and being surrounded by such a talented team of ladies, are major bonuses as well. I'm so happy to be working in this industry.
This career is so much more than just coloring and cutting someone's hair. It's about finding the right style for them to be the most confident person they can be. I believe if you feel good on the inside, that's when your true beauty shows on the outside. My favorite part of my job as a stylist is the relationships that I form with my guests. The smiles on their faces when they leave reaffirms that I did my part making them feel beautiful.
I am blessed to have a profession that is so rewarding. I get to meet new people, stay in contact with old friends and make people beautiful. . I feel lucky that I can make a difference in someone's life. When a client comes in feeling down, I love having the opportunity to not only make them beautiful but to talk to them and lift them up spiritually. I believe each of us are here for a purpose and I believe my purpose is to spend time with other people and do my best to make their lives better inside and out. I do my best for my clients to stay up to date on all the new trends. I love my profession and I love my clients!
From a routine color touch-up and trim to a whole new color and cut, I absolutely love what I do. My clients have become dear friends and I enjoy helping them achieve whatever look they are going for.
Along with my love for the art of hair designing, I love the culture that Fringe Salon brings to my life! I truly enjoy the women I work alongside as well as serving each and every guest that ventures through our door!
Finding a career that is rewarding and that I am passionate about has been such a blessing. I love that everyday at the salon is different, new and challenging.
The thing I love most about my job is being able to create new hair color for each client while getting to know them. It's a sweet bond between my hair friends and me.
